PeopleDrop is designed to help you share contact information and manage follow-ups without turning your app into a tracking system. We do not track you across apps or websites, do not sell your data, and do not use your data for advertising or marketing.
Your profiles stay on your device unless you choose to share them, generate an Apple Wallet pass, enable iCloud or backup features, or connect a CRM and upload data to it.
When you create a PeopleDrop profile or CRM contact, you may choose to enter information such as:
This information is stored locally on your device by default.
PeopleDrop may ask for optional access to device features so you can use certain parts of the app:
You can deny or revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
PeopleDrop uses your information only to provide the features you choose to use, including:
If you connect HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, or Salesforce, PeopleDrop uses our sync service to complete sign-in and upload the data you choose to send. This includes CRM records and activity you explicitly upload from the app.
To keep your connection working, our sync service stores encrypted token state and limited connection metadata, such as provider details, workspace or account identifiers, granted scopes, and timestamps. We do not use this information for advertising, analytics, or marketing.
Disconnecting a CRM in PeopleDrop removes the active connection from the app. Your local PeopleDrop contacts remain on your device unless you remove them yourself.
If you choose to add a Wallet pass, PeopleDrop sends the pass data needed to our signing service so the pass can be generated. This server step exists only to create the signed Wallet file. PeopleDrop does not use your pass data for marketing or advertising.
Some PeopleDrop backup and sync features may use Apple services such as iCloud when you enable them. Those features are optional and controlled by you through the app and your Apple account settings.
PeopleDrop does not include third-party advertising SDKs, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not use your data to build advertising or marketing profiles. We do not sell your information.
When you share a contact, connect a CRM, or generate a Wallet pass, the data involved may be processed by Apple and the specific third-party service you choose to use, such as HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, or Salesforce. Their handling of data is governed by their own policies.
You stay in control of your information. You can:
PeopleDrop is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
